Alees Cafe is a hidden gem! We ordered the kibbeh, hummus, baba ganoush, spanakopita, and tabbouli--and everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The owner was incredibly friendly and enjoyable to talk with and waiter was detailed and efficient. Even my 5-year-old daughter loved it so much she asked if we could come back that same night for dinner! We ended up ordering extra to go :-) We'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic, fresh, and welcoming Mediterranean food.

Neighborhood ethnic Lebanese gem located on cute historic main street. Combination of Lebanese groceries and spices and small restaurant featuring dining in and carry out. Friendly, genial host/server/chef overseeing all. Had spicy huumus with pita and pickles to start followed by pumpkin kibbeh with huumus and pickles Turkish coffee and assorted baklava to finish. All fresh, tasty, and nicely presented.

Finding a place that takes care with vegan options on a road trip is rare. Alees had a fresh falafel wrap, a lentil soup that tasted like home, and even a vegan baklava that blew my mind.
